I decided to put together some sketches from my summer sketchbook. I'm starting to get better at likeness. (Oh, and about the jellyfish...I've been bitter at them ever since I got stung in 'bama)

More Figure Drawings

The last batch of drawings from 350r. Awesome class. ^3 hrs - Out of class drawing for the final. I spent quite a bit of time on the face, so I didn't get all the way finished.

^ This is a repeat of one from an earlier post, but I got a better photo of it.

^3 hrs. - Another out of class drawing for the final. Natural light makes for very soft drawings.

Character Design

This is a small part of a big final for character design. It has some anatomical issues, but I have to call it good.

More figures from 350r.

^1.5 hrs--I'm not as happy with this one. There are some good things happening, though.

^2 hrs.--Drapery practice. I would have liked another 2 hours on this one.

^2.5 hrs.--More drapery.

^2 hrs?--One of my favourites from the entire semester.

^2 hours--Spent alot of time getting the proportions right. Not happy with his left hand.

^1hr. Some drapery practice (with some Bro B. additions...that would be all the dark areas).

^1hr. Spent more time on the face/head this time. Ha.

Preparing for another character design assignment: emulation. I think I'll ditch the lantern, though. It doesn't fit at all.

The final pieces. I just realized I gave Ryan my only finished version of the 2048 army guy. Whoops.

I never posted the Geisha due to the fact that I was always deficient by two. So here they are.
